Boomer Intellectualism #12
Hi there,
I am finally now recovered from cold and the good news , for some people , I got the vaccine. My experience while registering and getting the vaccine was very smooth and wonderful. I got the vaccine in less than 5 min that includes the waiting queue , which was none where I got the vaccine , and injecting of vaccine inside my body. I have been consuming content at the same pace as I was doing a week before which is pretty good for me because mostly I don't do one thing for a very long time. That’s why I am not uploading any videos or any well edited photos on my social platforms except the psych.we Instagram page.
Songs/Artist/Playlist Recommendation :
Jonathan Richman : BEST. I recently discovered him through Eric Weinstein on Lex Fridman podcast. Every song in itself is very relatable and has a vibe of a vintage bar with wooden tables and people drinking and shouting like a passionate guy cutting the grass with as much precision as possible.
Jazz ( Deluxe edition 2011 Remaster ) - I guess most of you how much I love rock n roll especially the deep profound songs and albums made by pink floyd however this time there is no pink floyd songs in the list or anything related to pink floyd. I have exhausted and binged mostly every famous gem made by them. This time I decided to listen to someone else and famous in the rock n roll genre. And well we can surely count queens in it. Queen is a band from London formed in 1970. I am loving this album at its whole. There is nothing to be critize about in this album. Must listen if you are looking to get your hands in the rock n roll genre.
Immensità - Although, I discovered this album a little while ago and I will be honest it still feels as if I am listening it to the first time. It has a quite sad vibe and perfect for a night when you are holding a beer in your hand and sitting alongside of fireplace with the smell of burning ash scattered in a dim lighted room.
Movies Recommendation :
The Tender Bar : Watched it like 3 hours ago and it’s amazing, inspiring and full of emotional outburst. I really liked the character of uncle charlie ,performed by Ben Affleck. It’s a biography of writer J.R. Maguire. I don’t want to spoil anything for you so just gonna end it without adding too much description.
Poems Recommendation :
Desiderata by Max Ehrmann
The church by Charles Bukowski
Go read and find what the greatest piece of art has for you.
Signing of on this note. I will see you next week with some more recommendations.
